Got a random email from a supposed Amazon recruiter for a SDE position (which is not at all a fit). The email is amazon.com domain and there are no red flags in the body but it doesn't feel like an Amazon recruiter due to the tacky signature, etc. Has anyone seen this kind of cold-calling from FAANG recruiter?

Guys there’s this boot camp that I came across that trains people to get jobs in Top consulting firms and has a fee plan wherein you pay once you get placed. I just wanted to know if someone here has any experience with this ?

Skills interview will be with a senior manager or manager. They will ask you about your current and past experiences - the projects you’ve been on and your role in them. I had my skills interview last Thursday and had prepped for it by writing down my current and past projects in the STAR method. Situation, task, action, result. Your interviewer will probe deep into what you did and the outcome. For example, when I was telling my interviewer about my process redesign experience, she asked me how I did it, what my role was, what sort of process redesign it was for, and how I would’ve improved/done the redesign workshop differently. I wasn’t prepared for the hypothetical question of what I would’ve improved, so I would recommend you prepare for that in case. Know your role and projects in them from end to end in detail. I was also asked about what brings the most success to a client. At the end, if you have time, make sure you ask a lot of questions about the CFO practice. ACN capability network is interesting because it’s marketed as strategy but really similar to MC. So I would clarify what sort of projects are coming out of that.

C1 and C2 - I am not sure and can’t find a good org structure to clarify. I believe it is strategy from a friend of mine who is in a different ACN group that looked on the portal.
Likely at the front end of the project as the strat team is working on the new org design, value and business case, initial change communication etc. the MC folks will start to trickle in on their pieces of training and long term engagement
