Is “Hacking the Case Interview” any good?
Hello Deloitte 🐠 20 YOE. Have referral for a content and marketing M role in cybersecurity -- the focus of my career pivot. Submitted my application today, but my referrer isn't in Cyber. Interested to widen my Deloitte Cyber network to get my resume in front of a human, since ATS has no vision or imagination. If you're willing to connect, please DM. So far, made it several interview rounds into roles with EY and Accenture. Optimistic, but want to be as proactive as possible. Thanks!

Thought this was interesting. Across 160 teams of researchers, just about all failed to make good life outcome predictions on things like GPA, evictions, layoffs, and others. Data followed 4.5k families across 15 years, with 13k features (varied over time). Haven't looked at it directly yet, but will be turning the docs and data inside out... In the meantime, authors claim this as showing the limits of ML. Oh, and it's published in PNAS, so you know there's some big publication energy there.

Windows, date time, CTE functions, joins
Try practicing with statascratch or interview query. They have real examples of questions asked
Don’t forget to understand the flow of execution of SELECT, FROM, WHERE, ORDER BY, GROUB BY, HAVING, in any given query which would execute first and which would later and the whole sequence of execution.
Join types( left join, cross join, outer join) window functions, type handling, temp tables, CTE functions, RANK() vs DenseRank() vs Row_Num() , for and while loops, object declarations, case when statements
As you're applying for insights manager, I would assume you have enough SQL knowledge as a prerequisite to application..
What’s the level of the role? (Entry, mid, senior) I think the most important ones would be Windows, CTEs, Joins, and Case statements. I used datalemur to practice
Insights manager
You may want to sprinkle in understanding of PARTITION BY as an insights manager
