I have a valid H1B visa from MNC which is expiring by next year. Java developer with 12 years experc now my managers have been making false promises about sending me onsite but it dint happen so far. No, I have already resigned and got an offer in India.

Now my worry is as I am getting calls from many consultancies saying that they will take care of my travel and placement in the USA. Should I take a risk and trust them? What are the problems I would face could you please HELP me with this..

I am an associate at a UMM and my employment contract has a 4 month non compete (yes, even for associates) but I am thinking of lateraling. What are the implications of breaking a non compete? I am in a tech IC position. One of friends switched to FAANG by converting the profile to consultant profile. The friend who might have less tech knowledge than me is now in FAANG and earning more. If the end goal would be that the friend might one day be a product manager and me an engineering manager taking instructions from the same friend, isn't consultant profile an easier path to growth. I had been practising DSA for years and the competition is only ever growing.

I have an H1b which I received in 2019 and was valid till august2021, due to covid I wasn't able to travel and then I switched to another firm last year in November. If I get visa transfer, will it provide me a validity back as I haven't used any on site time on that visa.
