I have about a 6 month gap in my resume since I last resigned from KPMG as a Tax Associate. Since then, I have been trying to get into equity research or in IB at an Analyst level. I cannot seem to get a break and have not been able to get in touch with a recruiter from these firms. Is there anyone willing to refer me? I have about 7 years in FinTech working with data and about 8 months in Tax in public accounting which I hated. I've worked 70+ hours in both industries so willing to work hard.
