I have an Associate of Applied Arts and a strong portfolio, but I think my applications get automatically rejected by the ATS application portals because most companies require a Bachelor's degree.

Is it okay to claim I have a Bachelor's? I attended The Art Institute and they closed last year so I don't think they'd even be able to verify. Do employers even verify educational records?
