I have an initial interview with US Bank for a merchant payment solutions sales executive. Any tips for US bank? I was with PNC for over 4 years prior to switching to a smaller bank.

Up your game on client relations, sales strategy, being a team player. Utilize the verbiage in the posting/ open requisition to your benefit…. It’s a word game to get you moving forward and sell yourself like a used car sales man.

Yikes I hope you're ready for the grind. Merchant services is not an easy sale now a days..I hope you know your material so you can ask US bank why people would want to switch to their merchant services products. Some questions that come to mind are:

Ask which branch you're align to and how many referrals they provided in the last 24 months
What promotions do you have for new clients?
What promotions to buy out current contracts
How fast can we replace a machine for a client when it breaks down?

how was working for PNC? i have an interview with them next week

I was at a great preforming branch and i loved my partners i worked with. they seem to changing some things with the bonuses /incentives but overall i liked it. i wish i could have stayed but there was no openings for what i wanted

I’m in Dallas and have been renting for 5 years. I don’t have any savings, but have about 30k in my 401k. Im thinking about leveraging that to buy a condo/or house. Is that a good idea or am I in over my head? I mostly want to, because I’m tired of renting and I’ve read reports that prices will only continue to go up. Although, I will have to pay back the 401k + pay rent, so maybe not a good idea. Advice/resources would be helpful.

Hi all, I just got a job offer at PwC for a senior consultant position. The salary is 30% above my total comp right now, but I’m just worried about the amount of work I will have to put in compared to my amazing work life balance now. Does anyone have any experience moving from industry to consulting? I need some advice on what to do. I’m still early in my career (1.4yoe) so I feel like I shouldn’t care too much about wlb, but at the same time, I don’t want my mental health to suffer either.

I am an Indian CPA and pursuing my level 2 Cfa. I have worked with family office and Swf and have relocated to Vancouver. Any tips on where to begin my job search

There is this big bank where I'd love to work at, and after several interviews for various positions they end up promoting someone from within, even thou I understand it and think it’s good they promote their people, it left me feeling like I'm just being used to comply with the process.

I accepted a FADP offer but I have lifelong crippling anxiety It leads to (TMI) diarrhea, I can’t sleep at night, among a lot of other issues. I see a therapist and have their support in school accom. I appear high functioning and ever since uni went remote my life and performance has only improved. I know I’m capable of getting the work done and they must see potential if they hired me. But I feel that if I ask for WFH or other accom. I’m gonna be shooting myself and my career in the foot.

I'm in finance/tech FPA, looking to go back to the defense industry for a 25% increase in TC. But wanted to see if I should leverage the new salary with current company to see if they'll match.

Background: got a promotion at current company that didn't come with sufficient increase . After stating my case I was told it would be evaluated next October, which is what prompted the initial job search.

Current TC 103K [88/15], offer 125k base [+discretionary bonus].
