Ask to be considered for both roles
Just be sincere and polite.
Agreed with mck. During the call, when you're doing the small talk (beginning) just say you saw that other opportunity and wanted her opinion if she thought you were a good fit. Then say how you're "passionate" about it.
I would send a note and mention that you have interest in both roles posted. Just be aware that interest is not the same as expertise. The recruiter may prefer your skill-set for one role and not the other.
That is my dilemma. My expertise is nearly zero for the role she is calling me about, and is instead much higher for the other role due to my pre-consulting experience and studies. So it would be a no-brainer for me which one to apply for. However I’m scared of putting her off if I signal strong interest for the other role when I forward her my latest cv she’s dog our call.
Also big deal: the role id be great for is in another continent (I have already worked there) but there may be further immigration rules than prevent me from working there in the first place...
