I have an offer of cognizant, but I am confused, should I join or not this company, I heard a lot of lay off and firing news about cognizant also the work life balance is not good there,

Recently read from the community that tcs raised salary for certain brand of people!! Why such initiative from the organisation??

Chase the money or chase the work life balance?

Yesterday was a good day. I was really impressed with myself. I woke up at 5, practiced dance lessons, did two water colors, made breakfast and tea, got to work by 10, put in 8-10 hours of solid work and then came home. It’s been ages since I painted or danced.
However today, I slept till 7:00, did not work out or have food. Still got to work by 10 and did 8 solid hours of work.
Some days are good and some are just okay. And that is okay. Trying to build on my good days and we all can. :)

Growing up as a diplomat’s kid, I chose private sector (consulting) because earning is higher going up the corporate ladder rather than govt/foreign service jobs.
