YOE: 11.5 Tech: QA Automation with Selenium-Java, BDD, API automation, Mobile Automation - Perfecto cloud, Appium All the 11 years I am with automation only. Is it possible for me to learn new technology and switch. Recently acquired AWS cloud practitioner certification which is of no use to me now as they are asking for exp. I wanted to move to devops role. But without experience no one is giving opportunity and they are considering my profile as QA only 😒

Is it easier to move from management consulting to deals or vice versa?

So coming up to my 3 years at UK KPMG Audit, and I got an offer from a food delivery tech company (think Ubereats, Deliveroo, Doordash etc) for a performance analyst type role which monitors/reports metrics for the Operations.

I'm interested in tech and thought this was a possible to foot in the door for future financial roles in tech.

Was wondering if anyone has thoughts on such roles or...is it a dead end approach.

Pls suggest how to crack AWS cloud foundation exam in a week.
I have zero knowledge on AWS .

Has anyone made the switch from accounting to sales, or moved into sales from a previous career? What was your experience making that transition?

Good Morning. Here's my dilemma. I have an approved H1B application which got picked up in 2019-20 lot and approved in Jan 2020, before the world went into lockdown. The stamping process was initiated but it couldn't complete as the USCIS offices were shutdown die to the pandemic. I have watched patiently about all the regulations Trump Administration brought in to deny any entry to H1B applicants who weren't already working in the states or who were waiting to return.

Do tech companies like FAANG hire strategy consultants? Starting at an MBB/T2 next year and curious if tech companies leverage consultants as much as other industries. I have worked on a data engineering project recently skillset: python,sql,elasticsearch,gcp. But previously my experience is in #reactjs . I have knowledge in nodejs as well. I want to know is there something called web dev + data engineering roles or my experience in data eng is just not useful. as it doesn't fit my profile?

A Deloitte recruiter told me that I will be getting 9.1 LPA + 10% variable + 80K joining bonus from Deloitte USI. Considering the fact that I am working in IBM India with a technically sound team and that I got promoted a few weeks back only, will it be a good decision to join Deloitte and leave IBM?

9.1 LPA is basically a 30% hike over my existing CTC and I am not sure if Deloitte actually gives a joining bonus and variable component.

I have similar offer from R systems and Wipro. R System has work location in same city where I live but Wipro asking for Pune to join.

In terms of growth and job security which is the best option ? I have heard a lot about hire and fire policy in R systems so scared to join during pandemic.
