I have had to remind myself lately that I am not weak and I am definitely not lazy. The burnout I'm feeling right now is just the result of trying to manage so many unknowns in my work and my life. It's frustrating that we're so often taught to see this as a personal failure instead of a systemic issue.
Can you relate? Do you agree?

I think this is a good thing to keep reminding yourself. I can absolutely relate. The thing is, these companies don't even care if their employees are burned out—they care about the bottom dollar.

Totally feel you. It’s exhausting when you realize it’s not about us at all, just the system pushing for profit. Makes you question where all the “work-life balance” talk even comes from.

Somewhat? I haven't had a ton of advantages in life and know that the cards have kind of been stacked against me. But at the same time, I've also screwed up a lot throughout my life and career and can't really blame that on anyone or anything but myself. I think both can be true.

Yeah, I totally get that. I think it’s really a mix, some things are out of our control, and some mistakes are on us, but burnout often comes from how the system stacks the odds, not just personal failings.

Hello all!
I'm 26, I studied economics but I don't know why I'm not much into investing/trading. Someone else like this?
I recognize this is not a very good approach for someone with money "knowledge" and I would like to change this mindset. My main weakness is that I easily get bored of following the market and that I do not see big opportunities. Any advice?
Where to start learning, general advice for LT and ST investments, things you learnt, books that changed your pov on the topic etc.

Thx!
