I have recently attended infosys interview for payments consultant position.i have 10 yoe and a test lead in payments domain. After all rounds, hr told max salary they can give is 22.32 with 15% variable whereas my cctc is 21.94 LPA fixed. Will they consider me for senior consultant position or will they drop it? Hr said that she will update on Monday. Why are such things happening and why don’t they ask our expectation or check our cctc before progressing? Infosys

Does this count as ghosting ?
Is expecting a text from other person saying " this is not what he is looking for " is too much to ask ?
This kind of behaviour puts other person on the self doubt mode.
