AWS cloud application architect. Had an on-site interview with AWS a few days ago and just got an email saying they want to talk to me about next steps. The role is cloud application architect but I want to ask them about the senior cloud application architect role. I have all the relevant experience for that role and feel like I’d be a better fit for that senior role. How should I approach this conversation? Is this even possible? Amazon

I’d suggest picking one at the start and sticking with that. Trying to learn multiple right off the bat is going to make things more difficult for yourself.
Learn one and the next one becomes easier since all the same principles apply.
I assume you mean syntax?
Google is your friend.
The best way to learn is by practicing. What helped me was taking queries from others and tweaking and enhancing them for my needs. I also liked taking things I would normally do in Excel and figure out how I would do those things with SQL. Lots of websites are available to help you learn different functions and how to use them. You can figure out how and where parentheses go by seeing where they’re used in example queries.
You could also try GPT, Gemini, copilot etc to write the code for you, and compare your syntax against the output from the code generated.
