I just finished my 1st year in my role. I converted in this position after an internship. I’m not happy with my pay. I make 57k now but I’m a top performer. I work hard and I have great communication skills and am already training new hires. Is it worth looking elsewhere for a job if I only have 1yr experience? So I’m planning on leaving my position before school starts, but the application and interview process has been slow. At this point I’m afraid I won’t find a job until late July. Should I let my school now and let them post my job as an anticipated position? I’d hate for them to have to find someone last minute, but I also want to keep that school as a fall back just in case. Unfortunately, it’s a terrible position and there has not been a lot of interest in it in the past.

I sometimes struggle with staying on top of emails - the amount of emails I get is very high and I can let one or two slip by I responded to. How do you manage your inbox? Is this problem normal?

It's almost as if people don't want to be in offices anymore so that's why it's difficult for them to fill those roles.
