6th year of h1b starting in 6 months. Firm has just initiated GC process. How long does it typically take to file PERM and is there a 365 day rule that it should be filed 365 days prior to H1B expiration? Any exceptions to that rule.

If I have a valid H1B until May 2025, will the i131 being denied have any impact on me? I need to travel out of country and I know that’ll result in i131 being denied automatically. I have filed for 485 in July 2022 and hopeful that it’ll get approved before my H1B has to be renewed in May 2025.
