You need to make your own diary more flexible. Treat your planned session as if it were a client meeting or meeting with your boss and keep to it.
I’d be able to keep them Friday afternoon. I can’t really make it work reliably M-Th. We were already doing zoom

What if you schedule them for mornings? People typically make deadlines for EOD but no one asks for things by an abstract morning time.
As someone married to a therapist who overstretches their schedule to mostly fit in clients at their leisure, make it work. My spouse sees people almost every day of the week and gets home almost every night Sunday - Thursday until after 9. They are finally coming around to the fact that they need to set boundaries and if their patients want to see them, they will fit within my spouses schedule.
My therapist won’t see me Friday after 4:00. Knowing folks like your husband exist makes me wonder if I have the right therapist or not.

Switch to early morning therapy, whether this therapist, or someone else. Work stuff doesn't push out 7:00am appointments.
