Depends on how much weed you smoked and how long ago it was. The longer ago the better. The speeding tickets could be an issue, but same principle applies: the longer ago, the better. Just be sure to be honest about everything.
Your military service will help you big time for fed employment. When it comes down to the hiring decision, you will be compared to the other applicants. If your good outweighs your bad, and if you outshine the other applicants then you’ll be hired.
Marijuana is included as a misdemeanor drug so it will not cause you much trouble as long as you do not have a high possession of it.
You've been back and forth, you were a coast guard and now you're a detective, but if that was a long time ago and if you didn't have drug problems again I don't think it would affect you too much, it would be nice if you had some drug arrests as a detective.

The number of things that can influence an application is incredible, but I think that marijuana in youth is something that can be overlooked, now if after that as a coast guard or detective you had a problem with drugs, don't waste time.
It does not influence you because it was before your professional development, in addition to the fines for high speeds along with marijuana, what it shows is that you were a slightly crazy young man, but look, you became a detective, that speaks well of you.
I doubt very much that it influences you, just have faith in yourself and you will achieve it.
It really depends. How long has it been? How much did you consume?
I don't think so. If it's been months or years, it will not be detected. Don't think too much about it.
