Job-Hunting reach-out to VC from previous fundraising effort for own startup
I have e-mail archive from 1y ago of my reach-out to 65 VCs in London: we had video calls, they might remember me still, who knows.
I want to send a reply/forward message to the same e-mail thread from abc@gmail.com, saying that I am looking for roles within their VC firm. Is that a good idea?
Or shall I just start new email thread and mention how I know them?

Even in TCS, NITians, IITians are offered 7 lpa, 10 lpa and 11 lpa as freshers.. Also, remember, you r not solely getting paid for the work you do, your college, YOE also matter..

Remember, never stay in a company for more than 3 yrs.. The more number of companies you switch, the more CTC you will end up at, and more exposure too!!

Good to compare against IITians, if you think you are doing equally good you will have bright future a head , don't worry about current pay gap.. that's normal and that's how it is, expectations are that if you come from better college you will have better exposure and you can deliver high..
Current market situation getting a job itself is difficult for tier 3 or above college, and tier1 colleges do have basic band to hire from college.. if not colleges wouldnt give them early slots that would restrict them access to top talent.
