I just bought my car and I’m looking around for car insurance but everything is over $250? Any advice / suggestions for cheaper car insurance? 24 and no car accidents / tickets

Try Root (uses your actual driving activity in their pricing algorithm) or Metromile (pay by the mile - could be good if you have a car but don’t use it much, I.e., live in the city). Both are also startups, so they are growing at the expense of being profitable (as in the insurance you would purchase would likely be underpriced).

Im in the same boat and switched to clearcover from progressive. Insurance went from ~200 to 110
Don’t know how they are as far as claims since I haven’t been in any accidents but they promote a pretty fast claim process using AI etc

I have my license in auto and homeowners. If you’re okay with it, I can get you quoted to beat your current rate!

I’m using GEICO and pay like 110 a month!!

Full coverage

Bro I’m 31, full coverage on two cars is 95 a month for me lol

Geico all the way. I have talked to a few brokers and they always say Geico prices can’t be beat. Only exception is possibly USAA if you or a parent were in the military.

State Farm is definitely the best $ for coverage in states with high insurance rates

Am I missing something with Quickbooks? I’ve been hearing a lot of firms use it so I signed up to try it but it’s quite confusing with the trust accounting. Looks like I need the advanced version but that’s like $180 a month. We already do billing through Tabs3. Would I be better off investing in an all in one practice management + accounting + billing software? Any recs?

Trying to decide on the HDHP Health Insurance. Basic vs. Premium. Benefits says the two are equivalent in coverage except three differences - deductible $3K premium vs $3.5k basic, no monthly payment for basic and no $2K company contribution for basic HDHP. What am I missing here. Why would t one not go for basic as you are ahead by about $1K. Any explanations or thoughts?

Has anyone been successful in negotiating the schedule on a global pregnancy bill? My provider won't bill by visit and split the global cost into four payments all due by the 28th week. I don't understand how that's legal since it is so off the calendar of services and crosses calendar years (and insurance coverage), where most costs are incurred at the end of pregnancy with increased visit frequency and delivery.

I bought a house in the suburbs of Chicago at the top of the market. I ended up moving out of state in 2017 and short-selling. I am now interviewing for a VP Accounting role with the mortgage company that got shafted by the short sale. If I get the job offer, can they/will they see this on my credit report? Can they pull the offer due to this? Should I tell them before we advance further?

Hey everyone! This is my first time posting but I thought I’d try to ask, I received a request from a recruiter to interview for a new insurance company I’ve never heard of: Branch. Looked it up and it seems to be a new “Techsurance” company working with both home and auto policies. Does anyone have any information they could share about this company? Thank you!

If you’re hoping to find a housing deal, you’re out of luck in the short term.
Maybe if you can deal with the higher payments for the next 3 years and sell/refinance above today’s prices you’ll be ok, but this isn’t going to be pretty.

I haven't been able to update the anything regarding the insurance part yet on FIS portal.

Will my mother's treatment be covered under the insurance? If yes, what's the procedure for the same? What are the documents that I need to submit in order to claim the amount?

Can anyone please guide?
