Used savings to pay for business school, so now that I graduated I’m rebuilding my emergency savings. Do I both save and invest in Roth each month (in addition to 401(k) contributions) or do I put everything back in HYSA?

I’m 26 and have ~40k sitting in my savings account. Annual income 140k. Maxing out 401k. No debt. Planning to invest 25k but don’t know where to start. Should I get a wealth manager? What is the best way to approach this?

What’s a good, practical tax book to read for someone who knows nothing about taxes? I feel like I should familiarize myself with them but don’t know where to start/find the topic very overwhelming and dense even as a finance attorney. When is the right time to buy a second home (primary investment/ secondary vacation home)?

My husband and I have saved up about $80K and it’s just sitting in our bank account. We thought we were going to buy a townhome but with the crazy inflated prices we decided not to since we like where we live currently (location could not be better and rent is crazy cheap at only $700 a month). How should we invest our money in the meantime while we save up for a house?

I just heard recently that if you refinance and your house appraises at 20% more than the amount owed, you can remove PMI. Is this correct? Getting a divorce and trying to keep the house but moving from a VA to a traditional loan and would rather not pay PMI if I don’t have to. House was purchased for $460k no money down (VA loan), refinanced at $450k to lower payments $400/month, now have $430k left on the loan... would it have to appraise for $516k?

So student loans aren’t being forgiven this year…right? I think it’s time I open the flood gates and dump all I’ve been saving towards my loans. Or should I leave 10k in hopes of forgiveness later on?
