My current CTC is <10LPA, therefore even if I switch jobs and am offered a package that is 40%–50% higher than my current CTC, my new income won't be much higher than 12LPA–13LPA. However, I am on the lookout for even better ones. So, if there is a negotiation, can I mention to HR that I already have an offer of at least 12 lpa and persuade them to give me more? Will this ruse succeed? Or will they demand to show an offer letter?

How’s would your FIRE impact if market corrects 20-25% from here?

How concerned are you about inflation? We have 70% savings rate and 50% of our expenses are housing / utilities of which the largest part is rent which is a fixed contract (no CPI escalation, no automatic increases, paying same rent for 4 years). No car as we are living in a large city. So if I look at the components of CPI and what’s rising I am feeling pretty „good“ about it. The one thing I am „worried“ is asset inflation but obviously that benefits me directly. What am I missing?
