Has anyone been successful in negotiating the schedule on a global pregnancy bill? My provider won't bill by visit and split the global cost into four payments all due by the 28th week. I don't understand how that's legal since it is so off the calendar of services and crosses calendar years (and insurance coverage), where most costs are incurred at the end of pregnancy with increased visit frequency and delivery.

Just read the sad news of the death of 1st AD John Nolan. (See wheresspot for thread) While I hope be didn't contract Covid on either of the 2 sets mentioned prior to his illness and death, if it comes back that he did, we need to have a long hard chat about what went wrong. I know this may sound like a question but I'm not sure how far along am I. My last mense was we 8/2. My embryo transfer was 8/23. I did my blood test on 9/1 and it was positive. How do I know how many weeks am I?

I currently work in Healthcare as a respiratory therapist for 10 years. I have been at my job, currently, for a little over 5 years. Alongside my bachelors degree I also have a masters degree in healthcare administration. Although, I am happy with my current position as a respiratory therapist, there seems to be not a lot career growth with where the department I currently work in within my healthcare system. Sweaty post-workout question. If I finish a bike or run in the heat I am usually just pouring sweat for the next 15 or so mins. So I've gotten into the habit of just putting a towel or yoga mat down on the floor and laying/stretching until I am not going to throw sweat everywhere or step in to the shower and step out still sweating. Trigger: rare illness post birth

Just sharing that I was diagnosed with postpartum preeclampsia 3 days after giving birth despite not having risk factors or preeclampsia in my pregnancy. Sharing as I had absolutely no idea about this illness.

Main things to do are check your BP everyday at least the first ten days after you give birth, and go to hospital if it's very high (over 160/110). If you get severe headache or stomach ache then also be vigilant.

At 29 weeks. What are the things to start doing now? Feeling a bit anxious about the closing D date. How can I be better prepared. Have already signed up for birthing classes in Sept and am doing prenatal exercises.

I’m having a really hard time with my changing body. 13 weeks, I don’t have too many bad side effects of pregnancy or anything so I consider myself lucky (no nausea ever etc) but I’m depressed at work, my skin is completely broken out and showing new broken face capillaries, and I’m not showing a bump yet so I just feel fat and big. I don’t know where this “glow” is but I look in the mirror and literally am grappling with not recognizing myself :( it’s been impossible to find any clothes too.
