HOLY that’s wild. Insanely lazy and insanely lax from a security standpoint.
My husband works as a construction project manager, his client didnt like the most recent rendering shared by the architect so he had chatgpt generate new ones with structures that defied the laws of physics and asked the team to “price that out.”
If a building crushes on top of client, they would only have themselves to blame
Immediately call a meeting with Account and make a plan to educate the client on why this is bad.
Have an IN PERSON meeting/workshop with the client. Fly to wherever they are if you have to. 2 hour meeting.
In front of them, have ChatGPT give feedback to legendary ads. Cannes Lion winners. Etc. Basically prove to the client how ChatGPT doesn’t know what is good, it only knows what is *probable.* And probable is the antithesis of branding. Branding needs distinction.
Also, in front of the client, have ChatGPT write standup comedian material. Have someone in the room stand up and tell the jokes. The jokes will be so god-awful, no matter what amazing, flourishy prompt you put into it (“Act as a stadium-filling, famous standup comedian…”)
Basically think of a few demos to totally poke holes in their trust for ChatGPT.
And tell them that the first 2 rounds of feedback must be done live in actual meetings; it will no longer be accepted via email.

Yep I admit I am heavy handed about the AI anti-demos, but I still won’t allow big feedback be given by email, it has to be given during a true review. If there’s any emailed feedback I always gently push back by saying we can address all concerns in a follow-up review. Emailed feedback is just begging for the client to pick apart everything until the ad ceases to be effective, and then 2 years later the agency mysteriously gets fired due to bad results. Emailed feedback also obscures the client’s true inner concerns. It’s our job to help them feel safe about any creative decision, and if there’s something bothering the client it’s rarely about the nitpick in the feedback, it’s often something deeper that the client is worried about. (This is also why AI feedback is problematic). When we talk talk about feedback in realtime, we can truly collaborate and get the work to a better place.
This is really to save the clients from themselves, which also happens to help the agency.
