Hope everyone has a great Friday!
Starting a new job at Applied Materials on Monday as a Manufacturing Engineer III. I’ve been out of college for 5 years and all of my work experience till now has been in R&D for start ups and small businesses . So not only is this a new experience for me going into such a large company but also a industry (semiconductors). Does anybody has tips or advices on what I should expect as a new hire and how I can set myself up for success? Thanks!
Anyone with recent experience recruiting for Boston Consulting Group? Got in touch with a recruiter through referral, was directed to submit an application and already finished my pymetrics. Anyone know when I would be able to hear back and what the hiring timeline looks like? Recruiter suggested to get back in a few weeks but isn’t it too slow? McKinsey sent me an invite for 1st interview in a few days after they received my referral.

Good boots will make it a better time. Trust me.
I always bring a backup .45. And NVGs (quad). I would also recommend a good lighter wrapped in electric tape. Lastly, you can never go wrong in bringing a set of ostrich boots for the post-shoot Ho-down.
Oh, and definitely bring mini-chems so you can mark which hog nests have been cleared.
A side arm (.45). Headlamp if you’re hunting at night. I go hunt hogs a few times every year with my buddies. It’s a lot of fun. Good luck!
Are you in Alabama? My college friends use to hunt hogs.
