Got a random email from a supposed Amazon recruiter for a SDE position (which is not at all a fit). The email is amazon.com domain and there are no red flags in the body but it doesn't feel like an Amazon recruiter due to the tacky signature, etc. Has anyone seen this kind of cold-calling from FAANG recruiter?

Are you strat, mc or tech?
I would consider this low since you already have 11 years in industry. How did they convince you to come in at a C level would think you would be a m level already.
Compensation looks in line to me with what I see around for process and implementation driven consultants, but a tad low for true tech consultants (think data science, advanced analytics etc) on the C level. YOE is only relevant if translates to the title, as implementation focused consultantancies as Accenture have mostly no up or out.
Source: my observations as a hiring manager for tech consultants 🙂, hence please be aware that this is not statistically representative
It's low for your YOE, but it's significantly more than I make as a L9.
So in general it depends on your practice.
Most consultants I know are at 55-60ish
As others have said, low for your experience, high for your position. As SC in NL my total comp was 70k
