It's been over 5 weeks since my final interview with Deloitte for M role. I've had a few email exchanges with the recruiter with a standard response that 'partners are reviewing their resource requirements and we will update you ASAP'. The recruiter always adds it was a positive interview.
I don't understand why it is taking so long to arrive at a decision? Is it normal at Deloitte UK?

DC is very OE focused as the GM and most of management come from that capability. I'd highlight your OE experience as well as other BAS exp you have including strategy, quant skills and delivery of tech projects. If you have industry experience, contacts or interests def bring that up as well.

At c1...we do a lot of tech implementation...not tech strategy by mbb standards
What strengths/skills should I highlight? I'm in a SC level and am looking at an OE role if that helps. Any advice is much appreciated!
Operational Effectiveness. Change management and fancy powerpoints and other such things. (Tech guy here)

It really depends on you. There is tech strategy but we have a lot of Lone Ranger projects so you have to be able to sell yourself to a client in that kind of role. Leadership will back you if you want to shoot for a specific type of work and you have the skills.

OE is organizational effectiveness not operational
