I'm embracing it, and I bet your boss would have much less issue with this than you're imagining. I'm judged based on professionalism, not personalization. AI helps me sound more professional. End of story.
Embrace AI. A lot of companies/bosses would be disappointed if you are not using it for tasks that could be autotomised

Embrace it. If what comes out produces the long em dash --, take it out. That's the first sign that AI is being used. AI loves an em dash for whatever reason. You can also feed AI your bosses typical communication examples to have it try and match their tone more.
Absolutely not lazy! You’re resourceful and efficient. AI doesn’t know your boss’ tone or context that’ll make the notes more personal. That’s all you! AI is the way of the future and as my boss put it - it’s helping clear things off my plate to help with more in depth, strategic thinking. Embrace it!
I wouldn’t see it as a tool in your tool belt. I would see it as the thing that’s going to replace you. Once your boss realizes how much of your tasks can be outsourced to AI they’re going to have less need for you.
Unfortunately that is the fear, however I would challeng everyone that has the same fear to read The AI-Driven Leader by Geoff Woods. Should help lessen your concerns
I use both! I actually enjoy writing but AI is a time saver as you've discovered :)
Definately NOT being lazy, being more efficient. Embrace it as much as possible. Currently working on an Agent to help with additional tasks
