I am a graduating student who just got offered 65k for a solution analyst role at Deloitte USDC (Data Engineering Focus). From reading previous posts it seems to be a lot of negative thoughts surrounding the USDC, but straight out of college is this a good opportunity?
I'm looking to gain as much experience as possible out of college in an IT role and wondering what exit opportunities may be in place a year or two down the road if there is little/slow progression.
Any Advice?

Hello fishes, I have offers from two different companies and both are offering same amount of CTC - 18LPA (YOE: 3.2) . Company names are Pristyn Care and Xiaomi technology india pvt. ltd .
Now for Pristyn Care I won't have to move out of Gurgaon (I'm from north India). Xiaomi is calling me to Bangalore. Rest all the benefits seem similar.
In terms of learning and job security and all the aspects considered, which company should I join?
Please help me decide. Thank you!

Maybe. Depends on the firm.
Did you have a track record of delivering similar numbers at your prior firm? I would focus on long term track record.
I have a significant track record but it was really focused on account expansion and reputation based stuff. Not cold calling and new logo. I have found that I am shit at that. The issue is that the other partner I am working alongside has all the existing accounts so I am more dependent on new business than I was expecting to be. I wasn’t really sure what I was joining until I joined.
You didn’t have regular check in on target with your practice lead?
Highly dependant on the firm but usually partners are the last to be fired
Tough one - any chance your network could provide some verbatim naming you specifically?
Agree with others - lots of ways this could go. Depends on firm people. Do you have a plan you are executing to? Have you discussed with your leadership?
End of the day, your numbers will matter… and less so on how you got there. Most firms I know including mine will give a hall pass for year 1 new hire. But year 2 (quarter on quarter), you’ll be expected to deliver results as you’ve had 12 months to build pipeline. If you are spending too much time on a client or offering but it’s not selling (or sales too far in future), you have to find ways to keep running numbers on the board by selling more commodity stuff and maybe sell to your network small stuff … as you build the hockey stick pipeline with new clients and new offerings. End of the day as a partner you’ll have to balance short term with long term.
This is my fear. Nearing my 3rd year as Partner and I've been doing fine. However, sales have significantly slowed and it's starting to gain attention. On top of that, navigating tons of changes at the firm, requiring me to spend more time with existing clients to transition them to a new team/tools. Just dont want to end up feeling like a glorified used car salesman (no disrespect to those selling used cars lol).
