Is it a good idea to go into SaaS pm role just for the sake of breaking into product management? Seems like b2c/consumer product management is the more popular one and is harder to get into from SaaS than the other way around. Hey everyone! I am currently working as a BA 3 on market expansion and I want to pivot to financial services. I’d love to do strategy, internal consulting, or BA. Downside is that I don’t have a business degree, I studied healthcare admin. Is that a big deal, especially considering my experience?

I have an interview for an in house position (only attorney) at a small non-profit focused on conservation easements. I am a transactional associate at a mid sized law firm. The prospect of freedom from the billable hour and contributing to meaningful work are the draws. The cons are that while the salary at the non-profit would only be slightly less than what I am making now, pay increases and opportunities for advancement will be much less than where I am now. Thoughts on making the shift?

I am trying to figure out how to switch to SWE. I have a masters in civil engineering and have a good background in higher level math. It looks like the better coding boot camps are quite expensive. The alternative is another masters in CS which is the same cost as many boot camps. Any recommendations on picking between a coding boot camp and getting another masters degree in CS? Interviewed for Meta exactly 2 weeks ago today. Contacted the recruiter last Tuesday and they said they were waiting to hear back from the hiring manager to discuss the interview results.
