I live in NJ and started working for an insurance agent in January. After doing the job these past two weeks, I feel unhappy and think about quitting daily. The office is small, my boss is disengaged, and support is limited. I want a new job but I’m unsure what interests me at 23. My main interests don’t seem practical as careers. I’m getting conflicting advice—some say apply anywhere, even jobs needing licenses, others say start anywhere and gain experience. I worry about missing out.

I’m getting back into the design game after taking a break. I left a very toxic work environment that deeply effected my mental and physical health and took a very different job to have a change of pace and do something different. But I miss doing graphic design and creative work. Any advice with getting back into the field after being out of the game for 6 months?

This job will be based out of San Francisco. I currently make $30/hour for the same role in Chicago, after OT it’s about $60,000. Do you think it would be wise to accept the offer?
