Has anyone been successful in transitioning out of the practice of law into another type of career? Or know anyone that has? For context, I have been practicing for 10 years, currently work at an insurance defense firm. I don’t enjoy litigation, and would love to hear some ideas as to how this law degree can be put to use in other ways.
Do you think mental health providers have become acceptable in India or among NRIs in the US, or is it still stigmatized?

What is the difference between insurance carriers? I have an option to choose between them all (Aetna, cigna, bcbs, untied), but can't seem to figure out what the difference is.

Can you precharge your car rental to one car and then change it after returning? Want to use the CSR in case I need primary car insurance, but would get more points on another card. Heard this was
Fellow KPMG, anyone with aetna pos II plan? It seems like you have a 35,000 lifetime maximum. I also understand that oral drugs such as letrazole are covered under the prescription plan and you only need to enroll and register in the fertility plan if you need IUI and the more rigorous treatments. Questions: 1. Does the letrazole count towards the 35 lifetime maximum? Any other advice or insight would be appreciated.
F1 visa rule by ICE to leave country if classes are online is pure evil! Students have to pick between health and academic career!
You know you're a consultant when after an accident, you ask the insurance company if the rental they cover is eligible for rewards.

Got a pre-approval for 320k condo for 5% down at 3.25% and 91$ PMI monthly. Closing cost is 9k including the escrow for tax and insurance. Is this a sweet deal or bad? Should I negotiate/ shop for other offers? Should I put 20% down instead?

So, I used to write for Sports Illustrated and I’m trying to get into copywriting. I’ve also done copywriting for small businesses over the past two years. I don’t exactly have your typical portfolio and, at 30-years-old, I can’t really stop working and go to portfolio school. I’m applying for jobs, but nothing doing yet. Am I out of luck or do you think someone with that kind of background can get hired by an agency?
When I present something to partner, my manager always says “ I have not look at it” and take the work from me... wonder if I m thinking too much
How do SMs balance being staffed 100% (staff Aug) and working on large pursuits! I feel like if I work on a proposal it's at expense of client, and if I don't help I'm disconnected from the Practice
If you’re required to WFH and your power went out (like storms yesterday) what is your firms policy? Do you go somewhere to work? How do you charge your time if you cannot work without power?
I support Tom Goodwin (original posts, not the subsequent sh*t show where he lost his cool). He was right factually. Plus I am very concerned with companies persecuting people for their personal views, no matter objectionable or not.
I’ve got a bachelor’s in Economics (4.0 bby) but I’ve been stuck in PMO roles the last few years. I feel like I was dumb for not doing something more STEM related like computer science during undergrad. Seems like there’s no Econ jobs that don’t also require comp sci knowledge. Maybe I just don’t know how to market myself with an Econ only degree? Feels like I need at least a masters to do anything with Econ without the comp sci part. Should I just learn a programming language lol
Football is trash and I hope the NFL doesn’t play this year. Nobody should glorify a sport that leave so many concussed bodies.

Advice on how to get better at story boarding? Started in strategy out of MBA and I feel like I’m no where near where I need to be 😣
Passed the in-person with Google and they have had me on hold for team matching now for 5+ months. In that time, I've gotten promoted and a 30k raise. How /when should I bring this up?
Husband is going to MBA in another state in a week.. I feel so sad and depressed. Ugh, anyone here experienced similar things? Any tips?
SA looking for non traveling opportunities with other big 4 or with KPMG. How do you scope those out if a recruiter doesn't reach out to you and submitting your resume online may take ages?
I’m a staff 2 and just had a call with a recruiter... sounds like at this level, the grass isn’t much greener out there than in B4. Can anyone comment otherwise? Do I really need to wait til Sr.+ ?
