Depends on the comp now vs new comp, how many hours you will work, is there flexibility to avoid rush hour and wfh early morning and later PM etc…
Frisco and Peosper are great areas. I would not sign up for a permanent commute, though I would do it for ling enough to buy a house.
I was commuting from Frisco to Las Colin's a few years back, and it was absolutely miserable, especially having been WFH for the previous decade or so.
It may come down to how much more the pay at the new place is, and if you think that pay difference is really work the time it will take you to go back and forth each day.
I have been in a hybrid or remote role for the last 10 years or so, so it will be really difficult for me to go back to the office 5 days a week without a significant bump in pay. Of course, what a significant bump in pay looks like, would probably be different for each person.
