Can anyone here give a referral?
I'm wanting to know what people think is better. Kaiser or ucla health for working as an admin staff. Ucla seems to have good pay from what I see on the job descriptions but kaiser only shows pay grade. Ucla has pension and a raise it seems every year. But I was alao told kaiser offers a dollar each year as a raise. I want a place I can grown and stsy Long term. Any one have any insight on kaiser and what they offered.UCLA Health Kaiser Permanente

That's doesn't sound great, but geography can impact salaries. It's just supply and demand when you come down to it. I would suggest you think about moving on, or better yet, moving up. Brainstorm about doing some upskilling and make a plan to move into a different type of work.
I feel for you. I make a great wage, really cannot complain but due to some unfortunate circumstances I had to move. When I told my boss he told me that my new location will cause me to lose somewhere around 10% of my pay and my benefit package will change too. With that, I won’t be able to afford my rent, my gas/electricity, food, etc. So I am holding off changing my address until I secure a second job (part-time) to help make up the difference. Makes no sense, same job for the same people doing the same thing, but somehow it no longer is worth paying me the same.
