Market is tight right now. People aren’t utilized is the problem. Ride the GPS work while it’s here and the market will shift again in a year or two.

That’s a part of it. Many of the states are doing a smaller scale doge and are looking to implement with consultants.

If you're a top performer with the resume to prove it, DM me and let's make it happen. I work for a small firm and do a lot of the recruiting. Finding good candidates that have a desire for Forensic Accounting to be their long term career is difficult.

What state do you recruit for? I was to work forensic acct long term but haven't found a role to apply to.

In Connecticut there are no entry-level jobs, plus they do DEI and Affirmative Action. I have applied dozens of times and have interviewed several times. I deserve it more than some Intern or foreigner.

Based on this comment alone, I can see why you still can't find a role.

When it comes to forensics, people usually move around from firm to firm in teams, and hire those they've previously worked with. Based on that, many forensic roles are filled before the job req is posted.

Hi! I'm currently interviewing (3/6 interviews so far) for for an appeals manager role for DME. The job entails not only to bill for dme (cms 1500) but also to follow up on any denials or appeals, amongst other administrative duties. My questions are is it typical to have 1 person doing both the billing and denials within a new vertical for all ins.? How difficult is billing for dme as I only have experience in gyn onc and lactation billing? What's a fair salary? I have 8+ yoe in rcm, no certs.

I was wondering if the review course “CPE Self Study Course” for the CFF was enough preparation to study and pass the CFF exam. The CFE review course was enough and like if you get a question wrong it explains it well so that when it comes up in a different way in the real exam you can still get it. But when I saw the outline for the CFF material and there seems to be a lot of topics so I was wondering if the review course was sufficient considering this exam is also multiple choice. Thanks!
