How early is too early to ask for a raise?
Hi there! Interviewing w/Amazon for a non-tech role (Associate Category Manager aka Associate Buyer) and was asked what my salary requirements are for base+bonus+equity. Can anyone share insight on what Amazonians make in this role. I have 4 YOE and glassdoor is not very helpful.
Any feedback is appreciated 🙏 Amazon

I feel like, if a company doesn't have a bonus structure that they are open about at the beginning, it's basically impossible to negotiate it after you're hired. I've never gotten bonuses at any of my jobs and it's never even been part of the conversation in any of my negotiations. Maybe it's just part of my industry?
Yeah I can’t imagine it being easy to even have the conversation where I work which is a shame.
If no one mentioned a bonus during the interview process and onboarding it's probably not something that's on the table. Some organizations will give a holiday bonus, which can be aligned with someone's salary. If there was a substantial bonus based on performance it's likely you would have been made aware of that.
Yeah probably not, a big shame because even the benefits they told us about we don’t always get!
