I'd love to act professionally, currently it's just a hobby as it's not sustainable money-wise.
I've always thought a job board that matches candidates based on personality would be a huge win. Candidates interested in finding a job would complete a personality test and organizations looking to hire would identify the personality types most likely to be successful in their organization and in that particular role. Candidates and organizations would them be matched up based on personality type to help better align candidates for what's actually needed in the role. It wouldn't be perfect, but it'd get everyone a lot closer to a positive outcome.
Omg this would be so cool! How do we implement this lol
Skiing instructor.
I quit the national team because I bought into the go to uni, get a white collar job, work hard, and you’ll be rich and live a happy life lie.
For some reason the society (or how I perceived the society) looked down upon skiing instructors. Quite similar to blue collar vs white collar. Last week I quit my corporate job after years of investment, financial and emotional sacrifices, with a master of science.
I plan to sign up for an instructor’s course. If it gets dark, at least I will have tried
Creative engineer. I don’t know if that’s a real thing… but Raised on MacGyver and Doc brown, I’ve been a back alley armchair Rube Goldberg physicist my whole life. Fixed a lot of random things with other random things that were practical and available. Favorite thing to do is when someone has a weird problem that needs fixing or converting something into practical and functional decor.
