I once got another offer lined up, gave notice, and suddenly my producer found money in the budget to bump me a bit if I stayed. I said yes out of fear and comfort, but the truth is the problems that made me want to leave didn’t magically disappear. The hours were still crushing, the growth opportunities nonexistent, and I ended up feeling stuck. Has anyone actually accepted a counteroffer and been glad they did?
