I went through six rounds of interviews including putting together a 30 minute presentation which I presented to the whole team. The whole process took about six weeks. I turned down another lead position at a different company waiting. After all that they told me that hiring for this role was on hold until further notice. Hey guys, I’m a freelance broadcast producer and I’ve spent most of my career working for larger agencies. I’m doing something for a smaller agency and they want the production company to hide costs in their bid and then have production bill the client the inflated amount directly and pay the hidden costs to the agency. The agency is calling it a “consultation fee” but client just thinks production costs more. Is that common and I just haven’t experienced it before? Or is this a big red flag?

I have an issue: just been informed by compliance I have a violation. Using a brokerage restricted and at this point I am at a loss. I sold off all my stock just to comply. Then put the only stock I kept with the broker, the other one is my wife’s employer 401k savings broker. The instructions say they will reach me within 90 days for next steps. It also says there may be financial penalties.

B4 I email the CEO as I feel they should know advice plz. BG: I worked a lead I was given for a company wanting an insurance quote. Back in sept. I won the business. The year 1 is 1 month only ( Dec 2022) as this new ins carrier mandates new business in year 2 start Jan 1 st of the next year. So essentially a 13 month ttl 2 yr plan. Deal made weeks ago. But 2 days ago I was there’s a software glitch and while ins carrier can start on Dec 1, our software can’t handle until Jan 1. Wtd? TFR!
