I put in my two weeks notice last week and everyone has been so cold towards me. Starting a new mobile app build (greenfield project) - target to start is iOS, but may expand to Android in ~2 years time and we will need a web experience (though not necessarily the same set of functionality).

I’ve had to step away from social media for my own mental sanity as I have a major issue with comparing myself to peers when it comes to life stages. (Single female, 34, never married, no male prospects, dog mom.) As a result, I feel like I’m doing a disservice to myself professionally as social media is a HUGE communication channel. Any advice on staying away or including it in my life in healthy ways?

I joined EY in January. Had no work all of January, but was busy for February and some of March. Which offer should I accept? Currently staff 2 at big 4 in Tax with CPA license. I want to leave tax ASAP. Both are public companies +1B in revenue and same salary. Offer 1 - staff revenue accountant so reading contracts, speaking with the sales team and legal team, a lot of work at the end of the months to close books and reconcile transactions to make sure we are ASC 606 compliant. This track usually leads to director of revenue. Offer 2 - internal audit staff so SOX and compliance projects.

I’m literally so miserable in industry. I have been at it a few years and it’s boring. My boss likes to act like every minor issue is a 10 when it’s a 3 and creates emergencies where there aren’t any.

Is there something against doing back to back offers at PwC or any of the other big four? I have two accepted offers with PwC next summer and would love to do both if the dates don't overlap (internship and a Masters fellowship). I was told that even if the dates don't overlap when they are announced sometime next year, I may still not be able to do both because of reasons related to the firm?
If this is the case then I may have look for another internship that I can do before the fellowship.

Ive been here a year and I feel as there right. My busy season is starting and I want to leave (not just because of my team) but as some of you may know getting along with the people you work with is a big part of wanting to stay at your job. I want to try to quit end of December and hoping to start a new position February.

Friend was staffed on client with a terrible senior manager who isn’t a very nice person, they left. Come to find out, I’m about to be staffed on the engagement and I don’t even want to be. If things go badly, can I just leave to another team?
