I recently accepted a position as a portfolio manager. I’m trying to avoid lifestyle creep and drive a 3k beater. However, I feel as though driving a beater will look negative in terms of my personal branding especially if I’m meeting with clients that need large loans. Any thoughts on this?

Had first round behavioral + a question of technical skillset in the interview for Insight Analyst Role in Financial Services EY.The Interview went well but when I emailed them asking the outcome after 4 days,they mailed me saying the manager gave good feedback but believes you are suited to another business area and will contact soon.
Does anybody know about this situation or have any experience in such situation.

Is there a way to get closer to the 58000 total contribution limits in a 401k after initial contributions up the 19500 limit? My employer match isn’t great but I’ve maxed out my contributions this year and they’ve only added an additional 1500 so I’ll be at 21k total in the account for the year. How can I get more in there to bridge that 37k gap? Or can I?

My work gives us points/money for achieving certain activities such as exercising for 180 mins per week. I have my Apple Watch automatically sync with the app that tracks our activities and it works great. Problem is I started using NRC (Nike run Club) app for runs and it interferes with the Workout app on my Apple Watch and it doesn’t get tracked. Has anyone found a way for the NRC and Workout app to run simultaneously (pun intended)?

Has anyone worked out the next day after getting stitches? I got one tiny stitch on my arm and the doctor recommends not doing any workouts for a week to avoid infection. But idk if I can do that—I think I’d go a little crazy. Anyone have any experience?

So yesterday, I was in the running for 2 positions in the same division at Goldman Sachs, got invited yesterday to go for a 3rd position after they submitted my HireVue, all of this is in the Salt Lake City office. They came back to me shortly after that saying they were inviting me to a superday next week for all 3 positions. If anyone knows what the next steps are, I’d appreciate any info or insight. I went through two rounds of interviews for
a job that the posting stated $36.66 per
hour (FP&A Analyst)…the company
recruiter had told me in the initial call the
pay could be 32-36 because of the other
benefits. If I do get a job offer what range
should I try for? I was really hoping to get
around the 36-40 but now I feel like they
may try to offer lower than what was
posted. Also there was no range but the
average for this position is upper 70s-90k.
