What provider does BDO use for its 401k plan? (Fidelity, Vanguard etc.)

What’s a good baseline amount to keep in a checking account? I generally keep mine pretty low <1000 after paying CCs then dump the rest in savings. As I’m building a rainy day fund and then I will start contributing my brokerage account.

For reference <1 year experience at $4500/month (after taxes and 401k contribution)

How do you effectively plan for retirement?

I made a mistake starting SIP in a ULIP. Used to invest 7500 per month starting from November 2018. I have discontinued my premium payments since last year. That is when my fund was moved to an interim surrender state and now it earns 4% per annum interest.

After 5 years of lock-in that is November 2023, can i withdraw the entire amount at a time? (Of course after paying surrender charges)

My goal has always been to payoff my mortgage then find a really easy analyst role to sustain my expenses. Assuming I’m a director/VP by the time my mortgage is paid off I’d probably be able to do an analyst 40hr week in like 10hrs. Esp at some of these low expectation companies.
