I recently accepted an offer for Audit Senior 2 in EY NZ, with over 6 years of past experience in Deloitte US/USI. I would like to know how does the hours look like here when compared to Deloitte during interim/peak busy season? Do they pay you for overtime if worked beyond expected hours of 37.5 hours per week? Also, how’s the work pressure if compared to my past employer?

Is there any limitation or chances of facing issues on Not having laptop with me(for other exit clearances).
Also it would be great if someone can give guidance on exit clearances as I'm worried that I will miss out something.

Just found out I will be taking two depositions in the near future. These are not key witnesses but I am still nervous. I’ve only been licensed since October of last year and still feel like I have no clue what I’m doing half the time. Any deposition tips?

I’m worried I made a huge mistake lateraling. I was really unhappy at my last firm and made a move for slightly better QOL and better work. But it’s so hard to start remotely and get to know new personalities. Does anyone have any tips or positive stories to share?

In OAH the NCP has submitted no actual earnings only hand written sched c (Uber). NCP lied under oath about how pmt for the car was made. Said a friend paid for it and he is paying a friend back. I have bank evidence that shows every car pmt came from NCP Bank and only deposits were from Uber. Problem is the car was paid off in 2018 and the CSO was from 2018.
