I recently read an report that said 84% of people have financial stress to the extent that they are physically exhausted and some even burned out.

With overemployment, one may believe that financial stress goes down and productivity increases. The possibility of less stress and more financial freedom could be a positive reason to be overemployed.

With that said, why are so many anti-overemployment?

Made a career pivot to another agency. During the interview we talked about how it may start as initially a "step backwards" (pay/benefits) but has potential for more long term growth. First day was yesterday. Had no communication about when or where to show up, sat in an empty office for about half an hour before a couple people finally showed. No phone call or email. Sent an email to the founder, no response. I could easily get my old job back if wanted.

Does anyone have any insight on picking up a J2 while working for the US Federal Government? Does holding a high security clearance play a role in maintaining a J1&2; as in, will periodic clearance checks for J1 hit on J2?

Currently have J1 as current employer used The work one for my BC. I looked at Equifax/ The work one to see if J2 uses that service, fortunately they don’t.
Question - if J2 runs a BC for J1 and Finds out I am still employed isn’t that a red flag?
