I recently received an offer from Sapient for their Hyderabad location, primarily for a specific project. However, after securing an early release from my current job, I learned the project had already started, and I’ll likely be placed in a pool instead. Adding to my anxiety, the HR doesn’t seem to remember my offer details or the initial project assignment. With no other offers and the joining date nearing, I’m having second thoughts about joining. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Are consultants only seemingly more capable (at times) because we dedicate all our client-facing time on a single project vs. juggling multiple projects? Why if you are on H1B is so much problematic for vendors looking for contractors ? Vendors keep on asking to join on W2 rather that Corp to Corp although for employees on H1B we cannot join on W2 due to immigration issues. Point being does it matter for end client , if the contractor is coming as W2 or not ?
