Of course, it is rational, but rest assured that at least you did something for the people of your community in other cases like mine we did nothing when many lives were being lost.
I was part of the doctors that moved us around the country and those days were like days of the war, I really would have preferred to stay in my area helping people but duty calls.
I think you did well, during those days there was a lack of doctors but there was a lack of doctors everywhere, on all the streets in all places, don't feel guilty for anything and you were very brave when you faced that situation.
For a long time, we have seen how fewer and fewer doctors are in the armed forces, but it was evident how little we are, despite everything we tried, you should not feel guilty or anything like that, they were dark days and the simple fact to serve someone was a lot.
You shouldn't feel guilty or anything, you are a war medic and you were in your country helping people in the face of a pandemic against which we had no defense, you did a lot and for that, I thank you, brother.
I think that would serve as a lesson in the future to take any opportunity. Well, don't be discouraged. You will surely have another chance to do it :)
Of course, it is. Your feelings are valid. What's important is that you did something for the welfare of the people.
I get where you are coming from. There's nothing to worry about. You are still appreciated OP.
