I resigned around 10 days ago. Today, my manager placed me on a PIP despite having no client escalations and maintaining over 102% utilization on the project. I also received a Core rating during the appraisal cycle but was not given any salary hike. Experiences like this make me feel that the work culture at IBM is deteriorating day by day.

Since I have already resigned and am currently serving my notice period, please let me know if there is anything required from my end regarding this PIP.

If u have already resigned..then does putting in PIP unnecessarily effect experience letter upon leaving..

Just ensure rehire option is ticked by your manager as pip doesn’t matter much to resigned employee.

It does not make sense to keep someone who resigned in PIP as it's for performance improvement.. but these days managers are using it on relieving employees to safeguard existing employees

I have a experience of 1.5 years as site engineer. I would like to go into designing and learn softwares according to it. I would like someone to tell me what is the experience needed, softwares to be learnt and where shall i learn them to be placed in US or UK companies?

Thoughts on long-term (5-30 years) fate of the market for consulting in London? Any women here with lean PCOS? I do not ovulate on my own (metformin regulated my periods but I still don’t ovulate) and am moving from three cycles of Clomid/IUI to IVF soon. No other issues have been found other than my PCOS (HSG shows tubes open). Curious about your experiences. And the reason I mentioned lean PCOS is because it seems for others with PCOS part of the fertility path is diet/exercise/weight loss but I am already very tiny.

I have been assigned to one client project.... During a client interview they have asked qns in my relevant technology but after getting into the project they put me in different tech... Which I have never worked at before...
That project is short term and they are asking to complete the development within 2 weeks and I am the only one resource... I told my tech skills to my pm... He said no other resources is available to replace you.... What should I do now....

I will be joining IBM next week in Bangalore ( physical onboarding ) and my hometown is in West bengal , My father is having health problems , mother won't be able to handle everything and no such person we can rely on . Also I am getting married in January . Hence If i stay in Bangalore there will be no one to take responsibility for my marriage prep also . If i convey to my ibm manager will they consider for 4months of WFH?Any documents may have to show?
