I started my first job out of college in May 2022 and was laid of last month. It’s so frustrating because everyone wants to hire people with more experience or new grad and I don’t fit anywhere. I have been getting interviews and afterwards being told that we are looking for people with 5+ years of experience. I just don’t know what to do.

6 months pregnant and just laid off. And 40% of my severance was just taken in taxes .. I just spoke with paid family leave and I no longer qualify even though I had been paying into the program (thanks NY).. I already applied for unemployment but doctors are telling me I’ve got 10-14 weeks left in this pregnancy.. so stressed having twins and being unemployed, no maternity leave, no paychecks coming in, and I’ve been applying but not a single interview.. just ugh. 😭
