I think I am facing the most important decision of my working life as a veterinarian: a team of explorers has already planned an excursion to a place that has been very little explored in the world. It is the Amazon between Venezuela and Brazil. I have less than a month to submit my answer, but I am really afraid to go that far- but I feel if I let this opportunity go, I will never have it again.

My advice to you would be to go for it! This is a rare opportunity that may not come around again. You may be afraid, but don't let that stop you from seizing this chance. You will never regret going on this adventure, but you may regret not going if you pass it up.

The decision you face is a difficult one, but it is important that you make the decision that is best for you. If you are feeling afraid to go on this excursion, then it may be wise to heed that feeling and stay home. However, if you feel like this may be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, then you should go for it! Use your intuition and gut feelings to help guide your decision.

It sounds like you're facing a difficult decision, but it's important to remember that you can't let fear hold you back from seizing opportunities. The Amazon is a place that has been very little explored in the world, so it could be an adventure of a lifetime. If you decide to go, make sure you're well-prepared and do your research beforehand so that you know what to expect.
