Just apply. I rarely see a posting for “ law graduates “ or “ entry level”. If you have less than 3 year experience, you should apply those “junior” positions.
"Entry level" or something. Idk. These distinctions are half meaningless, and you know that, right?
Oh, I know. I just don't want to waste my time clicking on positions that require more experience than I have.
You are getting the right advice here. Every week I see at least 5 positions open to entry level attorneys. If you are open to living in Atlanta, Georgia, or working for the Federal government (when it is open), then try those searches. As for positions that ask for 3+ years when you have (1 - 2 yrs?), as others have said, go ahead and apply. You might consider presenting your youth in practice as an attractive quality offering malability (call yourself flexible and interested in investing yourself in X practice). It worked for me when I leapt as 2L in BigLaw. Hold this wisdom in your aspirations: "Let your reach exceed thy grasp ..."
