Does anyone have any insights on what a typical Sr. Associate Director makes at Boehringer Ingelheim? I have a range of 170-180k which I think is fair but don’t want to be underpaid. Also, any information regarding retirement planning or medical/dental benefits would be helpful. Haven’t gotten much out of HR. Thanks in advance!

Such a great question.. I don't get why companies do that; they can save money and time for both parties if they would list the salary. For me, if there is no salary listed, the salary is not competitive.
i think you're right. Like you said, in this day and age why not save everyones time and just post a salary.
They’re hoping to maintain some kind of advantage, and it’s still not 100% the norm to openly share salaries or ranges. It definitely would save people time, though.
I don't know if this is true across the board. However, in my experience, I would say yes. If a job doesn't list the salary, it's because the pay isn't great.
They're just hoping you'll accept the lowest salary possible without revealing that it's likely at the bottom of the payband range. I've only worked at one company that made paybands public to employees. The downside was they furiously stuck to those ranges and tried to keep everyone from going above the middle of the range regardless of experience, education, etc.
Not necessarily but nowadays most states regulate that it should be posted, don’t they? So I’m curious if it’s a big company why they would hide it
