I was let go a few months ago and what they told me never will sit right with me “we have to let you go due to the economic state of the hotel.” Anyways my experience at my previous hotel job was ok I mean it paid my bills so I couldn’t complain but I will say management wasn’t the best changing the schedule every other week and I was giving my all to them saying yes to most tasks that they asked me to do only to be let go in the end just like that. Still looking for another job fingers crossed.

If my company is deducting tax on reimbursements for example relocation, flight travel, mobile usage, etc. Then how to show in tax filing? bcoz as per my understanding it should not be taxable as I am using my money and company is refunding and no extra income. It's like I have already paid once and while refunding company again deducting. Please guide on this issue.

My boss (exec director) and I need to come up with a schedule strategy. We work in a hybrid setting, 1-2 days in office, the rest remote. (1/2) I started a new job less than a month ago at a large firm with a significant pay increase. I work remotely- which is a special arrangement. They paid for my travel to their headquarters for in-person training. After interacting with my manager and some of the attorneys, I feel like I made a mistake. Manager is demeaning and rude. Back when I was getting started in the food world, I worked flipping burgers at In-n-Out. A man came in and said the burgers he had gotten weren’t right.
